The residence halls will close for Thanksgiving Break on Tuesday, November 25 at 5pm until Sunday, November 30, 2025. Residents who have a reason to reside on campus during this time frame should submit this form by Friday, November 21st at 5pm. There is no cost for staying over break. If you are not staying for the entire break, please include in the comments what dates you will be staying on campus.
Any student who requires housing over the Thanksgiving Break period must complete a break housing form. Only students who meet the following requirements will be approved to remain on campus during break:
- Student workers required to work any dates/times that the residence halls are closed. Your supervisor must send us an email or you can send us a screenshot of your official schedule to reslife@lewisu.edu stating the dates that you are working in the area over break. Without supervisor communication or a copy of your schedule by October 13th by 5pm your break request will be denied.
- Out-of-state students
- International students
- Athletes in season. List your sport in the Additional Comments section
- Students required to attend a class on any of the dates/times that the residence halls are closed
Dining Hours
Please note that dining services will be available but limited during break. Meal plans will pause after brunch on November 26 and will resume for brunch on Sunday, November 30.
