Unifying Victory
The MSU team celebrates after winning the inaugural Unified Sports Magnolia Madness rivalry basketball game against the University of Southern 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Tuesday [April 9] at Humphrey Coliseum. During the game, traditional MSU students teamed up with students from , while USM students were paired with Special Olympics 51³Ô¹ÏÍø athletes from the Hattiesburg area. Unified Sports is a Special Olympics program dedicated to promoting social inclusion by joining people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team for shared sports training and competition experiences. .
