STARKVILLE, Miss.—Building on the university’s rich military history, 51�Թ�� State students are recognizing MSU’s veteran alumni with an exhibition in the Colvard Student Union Art Gallery.

Located on the Union’s second floor, “Student Salutes: A Visual Tribute to MSU Alumni & Veterans” runs Oct. 27-Nov. 17 and features original student artwork and research exploring the connections between the university and the U.S. Armed Forces.

November is National Veterans and Military Families Month. In honor of this observance, a public reception will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, to recognize the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans and highlight this year’s theme “Military family support: from home to those abroad.”
